Google Launch Free SMS Service On Gmail Chat

Your Google Free SMS Chat service to India, via the Gmail chat users can send text messages to mobile phones has been extended.

SMS Service India and Asia, Africa and North America is available in 51 other countries. Feature was activated on October 10 for Indian users and regular Gmail as well as those on Google Apps is available to users.


According to Google's website, this feature is available on all mobile operators in the country. The company said in order to send an SMS, users must add the phone number in your contact list.

Google initially 50 messages for each user provides free SMS credits. For each message sent, one by the users' credit crunch woud. However, five of the credits by sending a return message, text message every time a user's response will increase.



In the case below zero slashes SMS credit limit, a credit will increase automatically after 24 hours.


To write a message in the chat window and press Enter. While Gmail chat is free to send SMS to the phone, answering the phone's standard SMS from Gmail SMS charges may apply.
