One More Dies of Dengue

Dengue claims another life in the capital on Saturday. Lok Nayak Hospital, 38-year-old man was confirmed positive for the mosquito-borne disease, there died four days after being admitted.

Municipal Corporation claimed that they have not yet received a report on the death. The corporation said that there are four new dengue cases were reported throughout the city on Saturday - Ames two patients and one each from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Apollo Hospital.

A 40-year-old woman, Maria Shafiq, North Nazimabad, who had been in a private hospital admitted a few days ago, a resident died on Monday. "8 deaths from the disease in the current year," he claimed. 

He said that twenty-eight new cases of dengue fever were reported on Monday confirmed during the 588 years of ongoing increase the number of dengue cases in the province. 

He said that currently 42 dengue patients in Ghotki, Hyderabad, Sukkur and five Kashmore, 42 in Karachi, including each one and have been admitted to different hospitals of the province.


This is stated in a press release issued here on Wednesday. Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana patients are under treatment. Total of 99 cases of dengue have been reported from various hospitals in the city this year.

Of these 99 cases, 44 patients from Ludhiana and other districts of Punjab and other states were remaining. Dev Kumar, Ramandeep Singh and Mohan Singh in Ludhiana.
