Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh idol popular public Lalbaug, Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturti festival is held in the main area. As fulfillment of their wish, the fisherman and the traders established September 12, 1934 Ganesh Idol. Fisherman statue was dressed in the customary fashion. Since that day onwards, this Lord Ganesh has become popular as it caters to the desires of devotees. The Board was formed in the era when the freedom struggle was at its peak.
